Elderberry and Nettle Herbal Tea

This recipe is an Elderberry and Nettle hot herbal tea recipe created by Market Herbal Specialist Francesca Garcia.

Can order nettle and elderberry by the pound at Frontier Co-op.

Ingredients:

  • Nettle 2 tbsp
  • Elderberry 1 tsp
  • Water 8oz

Directions:

Heat the water to almost boiling.
Place nettle and elderberry in a heat safe drinking container.
Once water is almost boiling, pour over the nettle and elderberry.
Let steep, covered, for 6 minutes.
Strain, add your sweetener of choice, and enjoy!
